2020 Rubner Michael Glass #20 bass

Here’s another traditional German design by Michael Glass.   Well chosen wood was used with this bass, with even grained spruce and  flamed bookmatched maple for the round back, sides and neck. The dark golden brown spirit varnish is lightly antiqued and highly polished.

With Bel Canto strings the sound has a sweet cello like character, and is even throughout the range. Set up with an adjustable bridge, beautiful French style tuners and a New Harmony carbon endpin.
